10 million fireflies

According to Owl City, there are 10 million fireflies that light up the world as everyone sleeps right? Well technically this is true as of last night. It was (still) a cold, chilly night. I was walking to my block and my view was greeted by humongous swarms of flies, and there were all crowding up any lights possible! The entire passageway was filled with those swarms of bugs so hohum, I decided to take the darker route LOL.

It's Week 12 ya'll! At the end of Week 14 will be the start of my first paper, and then it's the long-awaited break! Can't wait. People dislike counting down to finals, but I count down to them just because I want to get over with it like asap! Just like wx, I don't really know what I'll do during the break but the idea of it seems so liberating! So from today onwards, MUG IT.

It is such an insanely noisy world. The constant stream of information from different online platforms not only pull me from various directions, but it spreads my attention too thin that it is impossible to follow one stream of thought, sit on it for awhile, slowly reflect and if possible, articulate it. It is not

Information vs. Knowledge

“To know how to put what knowledge in which place is wisdom. Otherwise, knowledge without order and seeking it without discipline does lead to confusion and hence to injustice to one's self.” - Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas This week's key takeaway for me is that; knowledge requires knowing its proper order and place.  Everything else is just information.

Infinity

unbounded to any definitions or limits, existing but not adequately known. this entity, being constantly talked about, pulls like an unbeatable gravitational force. we are always approaching, almost touching, existing in tandem, still, not yet meeting Infinity the eventual meeting where there are no bounds
