Amidst the busy week, perhaps I had forgotten why is it that I love school. It's really sad that due to the academic workload thrown to us, we have transformed into some sort of humdrum existence along the lively corridors of school. We all have been there before. Every now and then. So why is it that I love school? If I were to look back to catch a glimpse of myself back in the primary school days, and then to the secondary school days, and then to junior college, and finally to where I am now, I see two things that remain to be in common as to be the reasons why I love school throughout the whole chunk of my academic life: 1) People 2) Joy of learning It's always been these two. I am lacking of sleep. Jiayee just left Singapore this morning, and she left, for good :( Adieu my dearest friend, hope you'll settle in pretty well in Perth! For kpo people, no, I am not graduating yet. I bravely withdrew my graduation at the Dean's Office yesterday morning, not knowing what to expect this coming academic year. Ever since Monday morning, there's this mixture of looming fear and excitement that never seemed to go away. I am afraid of uncertainties. But a few awesome people told me to go for it, and to grab this opportunity. Yes, life is a learning experience. I have to face challenges head on. I just need to believe that I can do this. Obviously, due to many days of unwritten entries, it is due to la paresse that kicked in ever since my exam ended. On a more serious note, I'll be taking an international french exam this Thursday. For these past few days, I've been seriously questioning myself why on earth did I decide to sit for this exam, and why B2 level?! Impulsiveness? Boldness? Stupidity? I really really hope that the 4 papers I'll be sitting for won't be so hard on me. Anyway Monsieur (don't tell you which one!) has been so nice, can you imagine, him, photocopying past exam papers for me and lending me 3 of his books!? Monsieur Waldo Wally shared this video with me a couple of days back. I thought it's good, and so true too. Awesome awesome awesome. Ok as many of you have guessed, my finals were over since last Friday, ending with social psych paper. I rather not talk about how my papers went, but more of how this semester went. I think school as of this year was rather happening (only intermittently of course, but very memorable), since predominantly, it's been filled with school shitloads. Last semester was great as I had numerous outings with ze french peeps and the nusha gang, this semester seems to lack of those since ze french gang flew off to France for exchange. But the best part about this sem is really the joy of learning although Dr Penney's midterm paper was a killer, french 5 seemed a little demanding, and MNO was just full of projects and time-consuming and the many projects and presentations I've had. This Ratatouille soundtrack puts me to good mood :) I've been thinking about how these French people can sound so nasal all the time, even when they speak English. I even thought about how it could possibly be a trait in their genes that has been passed down from generations to generations. I know this is way too random a thing to think about, but what triggered this was the flu bug that attacked me about a couple of weeks ago which had me go all nasal for almost about a week. And so after I had my french debate, it suddenly hit me how the nasality of one's voice can perfect one's french accent. Do I have to be sick to sound nasal!? Lol. Ok I have WAY too many stories to tell, stories accumulated from more than a weeks' worth of tales during recess week all the way to the exam week. Friday shall be the day I'll look forward to. Meanwhile, I am so loving mugging sessions with rui qi, joy and jiayee; we crack each other up almost every other time :D

Life, I really believe, is about falling in love. With ideas, with stories, with experiences, mistakes, adventures, poetry, imaginations, old books, new books, movies, music, and, of course, people. I had my first paper today. I think that it was reasonably, moderately challenging but I think it's the sort of paper that didn't provide enough opportunities for me to display my true understanding of this module. Ah injustice, but I did my best! I still like Personality and I think Ryan Hong is such a funny, good lecturer haha. Hoping for the best still! :) Me and xiang decided to take some break and then meet again just now to study till midnight at macs. I was pretty appalled actually with the crowd at macs (again, I forgot it's a Saturday, I mean, exam on a Saturday?!) because there were hoards of people sitting, all facing in one direction, towards the big plasma TV, showcasing some soccer match. I wanted to find seats but to no avail and I was thinking, who on earth would spend their Saturday night at Macs? Then I realised that I was in a more pathetic situation (who on earth STUDIES on saturday night?). Ok on a positive note, 3 more papers to go, and then, liberalis...

Some things just had to be mentioned! Like say, last Friday night I went out with a bunch of crazy french class friends. Initially I had been studying and then around dinnertime, these crazy wackos were going for dinner (and I was still contemplating). So this Nicolas&Amey went to find me just to convince me and they LIED to me so that I would go out with them, saying that it was Yvonne's 21st "birthday"! So I obliged ok mainly because I did want to have some fun before the reading week and also because of the birthday! It was only at Ben&Jerry's that I found out it was a prank! IT WASN'T ANYONE'S BIRTHDAY! Tsk LOL. THANKS MAN guys haha! But I did have so much fun! And I totally have to mention this incident! We squeezed seven people in the car (so there were 5 of us sardined at the back!). This reminded me so much of India because we squeezed it SIX people in the tiny, auto rickshaw a few times! TWO MORE PAPERS LEFT and i can hardly wait! Monday- Devt Psych Tuesday - Stats can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait! Post-exams outings, meet-ups with many many people, activities like shopping and watching movies/many many shows, finish up 'You're Beautiful' (argh, there's something about Korean shows that always gets in the way in the midst of my examination periods). And then off to India, and then back and totally excited to shop till I drop from Christmas sales :)
